Tacky Sweater Ride 2016

Rooster, Bling, Jack, Leggs, was on special mission from the big man at the North Pole. They were delivering gifts to the Tacky Sweater ride at the LBJ Grasslands. Vixen, Dasher, Dancer, and Comet and even Rudolph better look out these guys could be pulling Santa's sleigh next year! This was the second annual ride and even though we had a cold front hitting north Texas that day Santa's helper were out in full force spreading christmas cheer!

We had 23 elf riders that morning and some elves just came out and dropped their toys so they could get ready for the biggest cold front of the year that was about to hit North Texas. We started our Christmas wonderland ride on the red trail and traveled down Snow Ridge then through seven layers of the Candy Cane Forest past the Sea of Swirly Twirly Gum Drops  then we walked through the deep sand box and came out at the Red Gate by the North Pole (aka Tadra). We did get a 2 hour ride in before we headed home but some elfs like the cold more then others and went back out. Kat and Christy y'all are brave souls to fight that north wind that hit at 2:00 pm.
